Tisno is the most authentic place in the Murter island where is still possible to find the old stone houses and typical Dalmatian narrow streets or some original "konoba" with good wine, salt fish and Dalmatian ham..
One part of the town is situated on the island and the other on the coast, on the other side of the drawbridge which is opened during the tourist season every day from 9 to 9:30 a.m. and from 5 to 5:30 p.m.
Tisno is the picturesque town with a typical coastal scenery, nice beaches (concrete, sandy and gravel) and well-maintained coast.
Accommodation is available either in luxury private apartments, three star hotel Borovnik situated in the centre and camp site Jazina 1 km away from the centre.
Mild climate with a large number of sunny days a year, diversity of winds and island's location - all this make it possible to do different sports, both on water and on land. Every sports fan can find something for himself, especially those who like sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing, fishing, rowing...
