Splendidissima civitas Curictarum or the shiny town of the people of Krk, is a town of rich cultural heritage which is proudly presented to its visitors,it gives a warm welcome from the sea with a well protected port. The beaches in Krk have been decorated since the beginning of the 20th century.On the way from town port to Jezevac one of the newest beaches has been decorated,the next one from there is a concrete one,situated in the car camp. From there,there are gravel and rocky beaches.On Krk beaches you will find refreshment in the sea or in the nearby bars, however there are no contents connected to water activities. Due to its extremely rich cultural heritage,traditional intraverted people,and nicely decorated beaches,we recommend this town to all families with children and to those who are willing to use the time machine which brings a variety of epochs through 2 milleniums.
