When choosing your accommodation estimate how much time you will be spending in your room, how important comfort and luxury are and of course the price.

Upon arrival at your destination stop by the tourist office. There you will usually find free city maps. Gather up all of the guides, pamphlets, and brochures. These books are full of not only useful information but also for coupons with discounts for restaurants, tourist attractions … It is also good to get informed about the public transport systems and schedules.  If you decide to use a taxi, arrange the price beforehand.

Before your travel, it is always smart to photocopy your passport.  A copy greatly assists in the issuance of new documents in the case of theft or loss of the original.
