Wybrzeże Czarnogóry

Wybrzeże Czarnogóry INFO

Coastal region of Montenegro is considered the warmest and sunniest tourist region in Europe and the Adriatic, extending from the entrance to the Bok Kotorska bay in the north, to the delta of Bojana river inthe south. The coastline stretches 293km in length and is almost 3km wide. The background is mountainous and separates the coast from the rest of the country.

Montenegro coastline will leave you breathless with its diversity and Mediterranean charm. Each city tells its own story: Ulcinj, Bar, Budva (tourist metropolis of Montenegro), Tivat, Kotor (under UNESCO protection), Herceg Novi (tourist city full of green areas and flowers),... In the restaurants of each city you can taste local specialties, enjoy the cocktails on the terraces with the unforgettable sea view.

You can relax on a beach wherever you decide to stop because there are 117 beaches along the coast. Most of them are sandy, with the biggest one called Velika plaža (Long beach) in Ulcinj. It is 13km long and is well known for its fine sand with healing effects. Apart from sandy beaches there are also beaches with small pebbles, stone beaches, beaches with pine forest, beaches with palm trees, and many others.
