Klek is a littoral town, located in a beautiful cove between Split and Dubrovnik. Today, around two hundred inhabitants live there, who are involved in agriculture, fishing and tourism. Visit historical sites such as the Venetian tower (known as the Nonkovic tower), chapel and the remains of a wall from 17th – 18th century, St. Peter and Paul church (built in 2004), ruins of an old town Smrdan (well preserved walls of a probably venetian fortress), St. Mary church, view point – fortress Gradina from the pre-Romantic time, a large necropolis of epitaphs (stone epitaphs from the Middle Ages) and other cultural monuments. Klek is adorned with a large pebble beach which stretches along the entire town, as well as a seaside promenade – Lungo Mare, which connects Klek with Radalj. Sports and active vacation fans can enjoy cycling, table tennis, tennis, mini golf, bowling, football, basketball, volleyball, hiking, diving, sailing, as well as numerous other activities. Go on trips by an old wooden boat “Lipa moja” and get acquainted with the beauties of Mali Ston, the delta of river Neretva and the Peljesac peninsula. You can see all the beauties of the river Neretva through the “foto safari” excursion, in a traditional Neretva boat.
