Cruises departure ports Rijeka

The airport in Krk is located approximately 30km from the Rijeka port. The easiest and most comfortable way to travel from the airport to Rijeka is by pre-booking a transfer. A driver will be waiting at the airport upon your arrival and take you to the cruise port. Guests arriving later will be able to embark at the first port of call in the late afternoon or evening depending on the route booked. It is important to inform the cruise provider about your flight delays or changes ahead of time.

With the arrival of each scheduled flight at the Rijeka airport, there is an airport bus which leaves shortly after the arrival. The airport bus drives to the Jelacicev square in Rijeka, which is close to the port in Rijeka.

In Rijeka, please follow the directions to Center/Port (“Centar / Luka”) – you will get to the bus station. Here, the road named “Riva” begins – on the left hand you will see the buildings of “Jadrolinija” and “Croatia Osiguranje”, on the right hand the port. Please take the right traffic lane, and approx. 500 m after the bus station, turn right into the first street (“Riva Boduli”). Please go straight on until the end of the street, and then turn right, pass the gate, and drive directly to your ship.

If travelling to the port of Rijeka with your car, you can proceed to the port already from 10:00 am, and drive directly to your boat. Our Service Team will assist you in carrying your luggage aboard which will be stored on deck until the cabins are cleaned at 11:30 am. Our Service Team will accompany you to the parking garage, and of course they will also bring you back to the port.

At the end of your cruise, you can pick up your car from the parking garage already on Friday evening, and park it during your last night aboard in the immediate vicinity of your boat. We recommend you take this opportunity to store any unneeded luggage into your car the night prior to disembarkation. This will also add to a smooth and seamless disembarkation process on Saturday morning. There are no additional surcharges applying for parking at the port as all parking charges are already covered by the fee you paid upon arrival for the entire week. The fee for the parking garage in Rijeka is approx. 360 kunas (approx. € 50) per week, and is to be paid on-site.

In the unlikely event of a late arrival, you are kindly asked to inform us about your expected arrival time. Please be aware that it is very important for us to get any information regarding delays as soon as possible. Depending on the estimated time of your arrival, it might occur that embarkation will only be possible in the first port of call of your booked itinerary.
