You can spot post offices in Croatia from the yellow sign with the lettering HP. They offer services of telephoning, telegram and fax service, and money changing.

• - post offices are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., in smaller places from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.and some even work double shifts, on Saturdays until 1 p.m. In bigger cities and tourist places some of them are opened on Saturday and Sunday until 10 p.m. in the summertime.
• - postage stamps are sold in post offices and at newsstands.
• - post boxes are yellow with HP sign and they can always be found in front of post offices and elsewhere around the centre.
• - public telephones can be used only with phone cards, which can be purchased in post offices and at newsstands. From any public phone You can call directly abroad.
