Rogoznica is a little Dalmatian village which offers to its visitors a quiet vacation completely opposite to a modern urban life and crowd. It is situated on a peninsula (former little island Kopar that was connected with the land in the second half of the 19th century by an artificial dike) which divides the cove of the same mane on the west and the east part. Well indented coast of Rogoznica abound in different - gravel, rocky and concrete beaches. The main beach of Rogoznica is the gravel one with a long entry shallow (ideal for children), and the rocky and concrete beaches are situated in a part which is overgrown with dense pine-wood. The spirit of Mediterranean and Europe senses on each step. Pine-woods, nice beaches, picturesque and protected position make Rogoznica attractive to tourists.
