The islands of Krk, Rab, Lošinj, Pag and Cres are the pearls of the North Croatian Adriatic, which a traditional way of life that is inextricably linked to the sea will enchant you to enjoy and relax in small island town. Present-day towns on these islands developed from old town centres and fortifications with distinct insular stone architecture. Nowadays, numerous long-standing family villas and hotels are situated on the islands. The most famous are the villas on Lošinj.
The many sandy beaches of Rab have healing effects in the sand.
The island of Cres is known for its roast lamb and quality cheese, and the island of Lošinj is the best sport-fishing destination on the Adriatic coast.
Krk is known for its autochthonous sort of grape. The most famous wine is Vrbnička Žlahtina, produced by a large number of local wine-makers and kept in its renowned wine cellars. You can find numerous fine enotecas with the renowned wines in Baška on Krk.
Pag is world renowned for its authentic cheese, and lace as well as for its beach parties and vivid night life till early morning hours. Sights

- The Krk, Rab, Cres and Pag beaches – Baška (Krk) and Lopar (Rab) are known for their accessible natural beaches, and Novalja (Pag) is famous for its beaches of unique natural beauty but also for their recreation facilities and night life offer for young people. Lubenice (Cres) is a beautiful beach at the foot of a stone city, called “Sleeping Beauty’s sleeping town”.

Island Krk:
- Old town centre of the town of Krk, Krk – The details of the present-day Croatian national coat of arms were found inside the town centre. Croatian chequered red-white coat of arms is famous worldwide. It decorates sport outfits of Croatian football players, skiers and other athletes and sport fans.
- Biseruljka Cave, Krk – The cave runs deep under the surface and contains a luxurious hall and a gallery, and a stream running through it.
Island Pag:
- Duke's Court (Knežev dvor), Pag – It originates from the 15th century. Dukes appointed by Venice resided there, and today you can visit numerous art galleries and sacral art exhibitions within the Court’s walls.

Island Cres:
- Town walls, monasteries and churches, Cres – In the Middle Ages Cres was surrounded by the walls which were destroyed in the 19th century. Churches date back to 16th and 17th centuries.
- Ornithological reserve, Cres – The reserve is a home to Griffon vultures (a protected predatory bird species), as well as eagles and grey hawks that nest there.

Fun & Nightlife

The island of Pag, especially Novalja, is a famous destination for young people due to its numerous beach night clubs that attract young people from Croatia and all over the world. Cres completes its touristic offer with the organization of summer music evenings and a carnival in July. Each summer a jazz festival is organized on Krk, and a traditional knight tournament of the Rab archers takes place on Rab. All islands are famous for their traditional Croatian music evenings and fishermen's summer festivities with local dishes and wines.
