It was part of the jewellery that sailors used to wear, as a sign of protection from weary waters; the archduchess Ana Maria also brought one to the royal courts in Vienna. Perhaps the Morčić will be the centre of your Rijeka story, or the Močić will be the souvenir you choose to bring home with you?
