Starigrad Paklenica is a tourist place situated on the Adriatic highway Rijeka - Zadar, at the bottom of the mountain Velebit. This place is also a starting point for a national park, and because of its gravel beaches which spread for kilometres, it is suitable for families with children. Mountain massifs of Velebit and Paklenica are regularly visited by potholers, and walkers and herbalists have on disposal beautiful promenades on slopes of the national park. Hotels organize evening entertainments with music alive till late in the night and for those who prefer a bit modern entertainment, we recommend Zadar and Tourist village Zaton.
