Crikvenica - is a town with a tourist tradition more than 100 years old and is situated in the most beautiful part of Croatian coast. It was named after a church, a pavlin monastery that was erected by Nikola Frankopan in 1412 on the mouth of river Dubračine.
With an extremely convenient climate, Crikvenica has more than 2500 hours of sun per year, while clean air with no harmful allergens, smog or industrial dust, as well as clean sea, make Crikvenica an ideal place for families and people in search for fun. The beaches of the Crikvenica Riviera are made by wide bays, one after another, with gravel and sand, and concrete rocky beaches. This town is ideal for family relaxation, but also for young people who can have fun in the many coffee bars or look for fun in other towns. Although there are fun contents here, this should increase significantly.
