The tourist destination and harbor Brist lies in the bay of the same name on the beautiful Makarska Riviera, 8 km north of the port of Ploce. Since the Mediterranean climate allows the growing of olives, fruit and grapes, homegrown food is served in restaurants and konobas (local restaurants). The coastline is dotted with numerous bays (Na ploci, Blatnice, Pod pecu, Slakovac, Pakljine and Zaborci), known for pebble beaches. You can find accommodation in private rooms and apartments. Brist is ideal for those who would like to spend their holidays in a quiet place. If you like sports, Brist is great for water sports and, due to the vicinity of Biokovo Mountain, we also recommend Brist to alpinists, speleologists, botanists and hikers.
