With its accession to the European Union<\/strong>, Croatia had to completely subject itself to the Union laws regarding visas starting from 1st April. This means that all passengers coming from EU member states have to abide by the visa regime to make a tourist visit or transit through Croatia<\/a>. However, according to the decision brought by Croatian government on 16th May 2013, foreign visitors who do have a valid Schengen licence do not need a visa until 31st December 2013 to enter Croatia, visit for a short while or ever cross over the state territory of the Republic of Croatia.<\/p>\n

Due to great importance of Russian guests to Croatian tourism, as well as the increased number of Ukrainian and Turkish guess, Croatian government is making additional efforts to make the visa application easier. A total of 18 visa centres are being opened in the Russian Federation while all the necessary adjustments are being implemented in Croatian embassies in Kiev and Ankara, as well as the General embassy in Istanbul.<\/p>\n

Additionally, visas for entering Croatian territory will be issued in a very short time frame (notably five days since the application has been handed). There is also a possibility of issuing multiple visas. Visa application fee is 35 EUR, as it was up to this moment.<\/p>\n

The visa application must present enclosed:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Valid passport identification document
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 One colour photography 35×45 mm
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proof of valid travel health insurance
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proof of paid visa application fee
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Documentation which proves:
\n– Nature of your visit to Croatia<\/em>
\n – Confirmed accommodation<\/em>
\n – Means to support yourself during your stay in Croatia and to return to home country,\u00a0 or travel to another country<\/em>
\n – Means of travel and intention to return to home country, or travel to another country<\/em><\/p>\n
