{"id":2148,"date":"2012-04-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-04-15T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/http:\/\/blog1.adriagate.com.adriagate.comhttp:\/\/blog1.adriagate.comhttp:\/\/blog1.adriagate.com\/uncategorized\/parasailing-in-tucepi-croatia\/"},"modified":"2012-04-15T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2012-04-15T00:00:00","slug":"parasailing-in-tucepi-croatia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog1.adriagate.com\/en\/parasailing-in-tucepi-croatia\/","title":{"rendered":"Parasailing in Tucepi \u2013 Croatia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: left;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/padobrani.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\"><\/p>\n<p>Since one of my unfulfilled desires has always been to <em>jump with a parachute<\/em>, it&#8217;s no wonder that I have instantly accepted a little more lenient form of viewing the world from above.<\/p>\n<p>We gathered a team wanting a bit of <em>adrenalin<\/em>, so we went early in the morning on a full-day trip to <a title=\"Tucepi Croatia Adriagate.com\" href=\"\/\/www.adriagate.com\/Croatia-en\/Tucepi\">Tucepi<\/a> where our <em>parachutes<\/em> waited for us. We were all excited like little kids. The experience and the excitement were even greater because we booked a<em> flight in pairs<\/em> and the knowledge that soon our only connection to the earth to will be a 500 m long rope was exciting. The day was perfect to enjoy at a height of 250 m, it was clear and without a breath of wind.<br \/>We found a place on the already full <em>beach<\/em>, leaving our belongings and headed towards the boat, which was already ready to go. The guys who drove us gave us a <em>seat belt<\/em> that we had to put on immediately, before entering the boat. Since we weren&rsquo;t the only ones in the boat,<\/p>\n<p>but with 3 other pairs, we had to wait our turn. Somehow our turn was next to last, so we enjoyed the ride until it was our time.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: right;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/tucepi-iz-zraka.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It finally happened. We buttoned our belt, placed the camera tight around our neck and with a smile on our face went to the stern on the ship. The excitement grew, the wind in my hair was growing stronger and a minute later, my legs were dangling in the air and slowly we climbed in altitude. The view was increasingly beautiful and our boat smaller, sounds became<\/p>\n<p>quieter, the panorama resembled that of a postcard, and fear was nowhere to be found. One word explains it- wonderful.<\/p>\n<p>If it was up to me, I would be up there for hours and just enjoy. The three minutes that they kept us up were too short to admire the view,<\/p>\n<p>enjoy the incredible silence and a feeling the time had slowed down. Up there you are in another world. You watch as the boat that pulls you drives reeeeeeeally fast, other ships passing, you see the crowd on the <em>beach<\/em>, and you are so moving so slow and everything is in slow motion. At no moment was I afraid of the height or had a feeling that I might fall out from the rope that was holding us, so I enjoyed every moment, spread my arms, took pictures without any difficulties. My only fear was that I could drop my camera. <img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Smile\" src=\"\/\/www.adriagate.comhttp:\/\/blog1.adriagate.com\/editors\/tiny_mce_3_4_3_1\/plugins\/emotions\/img\/smiley-smile.gif\" alt=\"Smile\" border=\"0\"><br \/>I felt like on my own. I love heights and that&rsquo;s that my happiness came to an end when I saw the rope was pulling us down. There was no better time to say &#8211; all good things must come to an end &#8230; it was an <em>experience<\/em> I would definitely retry, but if it is possible to stay longer up in the air I would accept immediately.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/tucepi-iz-zraka-2.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>When we were lowered down to the speed boat the impressions came in a rush and all I could think about was that I want to do it again!!! It was definitely a great <em>adventure<\/em>, but for my taste with not enough <em>adrenalin<\/em>.
