Next season, precisely June 12 – 15, 2014, Biograd will be hosting one of the largest motorcycle events in Europe – the 23rd annual European H.O.G. Rally 2014

All those who possess a two-wheeler pet will certainly not want to miss out the chance to attend this biker’s event. The event will last for four days and organizers promise an abundance of fun. The Croatian roads, especially the Adriatic highway are one of the most interesting routes for bikers from all over Europe. This will be another great event that will promote Croatia as a destination and certainly have new guests back to the Croatian coast for years to come.

Book your accommodation in Croatia on time …

When to book? Whether you want to book accommodation in a hotel room or in a private apartment we recommend that you begin your search for accommodation now. From our experience in 2011, majority of the accommodation was already booked up in November and December
What dates? If you want to attend the whole event, we recommend that you search for accommodation in the period from 11.06. – 16.06. / 5 nights.
Parking? Most hotels have a garage or secured outside parking. However, if you opt for a private apartment at time of booking you have to make sure that you choose an accommodation which has parking (in the yard) to make sure your metal pet will be safe while you relax or barbecue with friends on the patio. Some of the private apartments do not have a parking lot.

The official currency in Croatia is still Croatian Kuna (1 Kuna = 100 Lipa). Money can be exchanged at banks, exchange offices, post offices, travel agencies, hotels and camping grounds.

If you decide to visit Dubrovnik, bring your passport along. The Croatian border gets cut off for a few kilometers in Neum and you will need to pass through Bosnia and Hercegovina.
The sea organ in Zadar is another must see attraction. The instrument is located on the shore and the melody is produced by sea waves and movement of the sea. The organ is connected to an installation called “a salute to the sun”, which consists of solar glass panels through which the Zadar waterfront and sea organs are transformed into a play of lights.
