Rakovica country district is situated in the most south part of Karlovac's country, alongside the border of the National park Plitvicka jezera, and it includes 26 little towns on the coast of Korana river.
Thanks to riches of caves and ditches (cave complex of Muškinja and Panjkova cave, Donja and Gornja cave), the country district has great prerequisite conditions for development of caving tourism. Cliffs of Korana canyon are suitable for, so-called, soft rock-climbing, and lower parts of the country district are suitable for walking and cycling. For hunting devotees we can recommend bears, fawns, boars, hares, and feathery games hunting.
