Split
We loved to wonder around and get lost in the narrow streets. The atmosphere was safe and relaxing, taking you to ancient times. Make sure to explore the old town and visit the basement of the ancient palace of Roman emperor Diocletian, for a nice view over the city climb up the belltower of the St. Dujam cathedral.
If you have time, go rafting in the Cetina Canyon near Omis and visit the Flinstone (Kremenko) restaurant in Kucice. The whole ambient is like in the stone age and there is even a replica of Fred's car, our children loved it.
