Ivan Dolac is a tourist village situated on the southern part of the island Hvar. Its gravel beaches (the most famous are Šuplja stina and Lučišće near Sv.Nedjelja, Jagodna, Paklina, Petarčica) make it a very attractive destination for all those who want a peaceful vacation without the city rush. There are no buses, hotels, large shopping centers and loud discotheques, and you can find accommodation in private apartments. There is a small market in Ivan Dolac, and everything else that you need, you can find in nearby Jelsa. There are numerous vineyards on the hillside above Ivan Dolac, where the best wines in Hvar are made.
