Drace [ Peljesac ]
Drace - INFO
Drace is a fishing village and a cove with the same name on the northern coast of the Peljesac Peninsula, 30 km northwest of Ston. The cove is a part of the spacious bay of Bratkovica, open to the north. The bay has a number of coves (Drace, Stinjivac, Blazevo and Brijesta). The chief occupations are farming and fishing. Smaller yachts may dock in the harbour (depth 1.3 - 3 m), protected from all winds by a breakwater. The Drače region is an insular seaside resort of Mediterranean atmosphere. It has a long-standing tourist and winegrower's hospitality with a nice climate and clean, transparent sea. We offer you accommodation with discreet care of the host.
Hunting tourism has a long tradition on Pelješac as well. The hunting grounds are especially rich with muflons and wild pigs.
Placed in a large inlet, Drace is an outstanding choice if you want a quiet family vacation. Drače is linked to the mainland by road enabling excursions to the breathtaking surroundings.
