Turquoise sea and Dalmatian wines
This summer again we spent our vacation on the closest and the most beautiful coast of our continent. We wanted to get to know the new territories, and for this reason chose this antique beachfront apartment. The pebble beach with clean, turquoise water and a grim forrest behind it is a sight to remember. We have no complaints about the grocery store either. In the evening the inn by the sea impressed us with the tasty meat and fish dishes and with the vugova, local brandy we got for free. Besides swimming we took trips around the area. We took a trip to Makraska, we drove up to the top of Sv. Jure, we saw the modern monument in Podgora, one day we travelled to the Neretva estuary. I recommend this excellent vacation place to families with many members and generations!

Gradac- unspoilt and peaceful
Gradac
Gradac is a idyllic small resort south of Markaska. We spent four wonderful days there.
The sea beautiful and clear and this resort was not overcrowded.
In the evening as the sun set we dined along the beach in a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
GRADAC is quiet place where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of modern day living, soak up the sun, relax & enjoy water sports, dine in lovely restaurants like the Marco Polo. Gradac is well worth a visit - its a stunning location where the people are friendly and the resort is quiet and unspoiled.

Eintauchen
Wir haben heuer schon zum zweiten Mal unseren Urlaub hier verbracht! "Wir" das sind mein Mann, unser Sohn, Alexander, 15J, unsere Tochter Larissa, 13 J und ich. Als uns Mirko mit seinem Boot zur Insel brachte, war das fast wie heimkommen. Wir wurden begrüßt von zwei Möwen, die bis zum Ende des Urlaubs beinahe handzahm waren. Am Abend haben sich noch zwei Kater eingestellt, von denen wir einen schon vom Vorjahr kannten. Unser Tag war mit schwimmen, schnorcheln, Boot fahren, Sonne genießen und Zeit für uns haben reichlichst ausgefüllt. Da unsere Kinder die Natur lieben, war ihnen nie fad. Das Meer war glasklar und wir haben viele verschiedene Fische, ein Seepferdchen, Krabben, Seespinnen und sogar eine kleine Languste beobachten können. Mein Mann und Alexander hatten das Glück, auf einer Ausfahrt zwei Delphinen zu begegnen und sie über eine Stunde zu begleiten. Alexander, unser Fischer, hat uns mit einem Seeaal und Calamares versorgt. Am Grillrost entstanden die köstlichsten Essen. Schweren Herzens haben wir nach 3 Wochen, in denen wir wirklich Kraft schöpfen konnten, Abschied genommen. Aber wir kommen sicher wieder!!! Auch die Kinder haben bereits für nächstes Jahr gewünscht, wieder nach Zizanj zu kommen.

Ivan Dolac, Hvar
Beautiful sea
Ivan Dolac is small town. It has only one shop (well equipped), one bakery and one news-stand. Two restaurants.
It is great for accommodation in apartments when you prepare your own food. Gastronomy offer is poor. Vegetables are not easy to get although there is one household that sells homemade vegetables (eco) and figs. The choice is very poor but tasty.
Although our apartment was high in the hills, climbing and going down to the beach was a little difficult, but the view from the apartment was fantastic. Beautiful air, wonderful nights.
Beaches are nice. Mostly on rocks created concrete slabs, deep sea.
Great for surfers (lots of wind between the islands of Scedro and Hvar)
Actually it is far enough from civilization for a good getaway, if that's what you need.

Omis Duce
Duce - beach with sand
We spend 8 wonderful days in Omis-Duce. Very quiet and ideal for family vacation with kids. The accomodation was great, clean and with a beautiful view. This is great because it had sand wich is rare in Croatia but was ideal for our 1 year old baby who played in sand and clean warm sea water. I recomanded to several frieds this destination.

Medulin
Medulin - perfect for families with small children
Medulin is small village with good atmosfere and perfect vacation conditions for families with small children. Beach is very fine and acces to sea is very safe - convinient for children. Parents have perfect conditions for out eating. There is a lot of good restaurants and pizerias. Funny park is perfect for children, for their entertainment after swimming in the sea. Sea is clean, typical in Croatia.

Orebic
I always spend pleasant weeks on the Adriatic with my family, but this year's 10 days in Orebic exceed everything from before.
Orebic gave me what a person would expect from a relaxing vacation in a good atmosphere.
Beautiful coast surrounded by rocks, unique climate, intimate restaurants, (with acceptable prices) wine cellars with excellent wines, the Peljesac peninsula, the Korcula island's beautiful landscapes, and the relative proximity to Dubrovnik in my opinion fulfilled all our needs for secure resting and entertainment possibilities.

Plitvice lakes - wonder of nature
Anyone, who can, has to stop at least for one day on Plitvice lakes. That is one of wonders of nature! It's worth to relax on your way to Adriatic; the accommodation is not expensive.
