Here are a few cocktails that will help you celebrate New Year’s Eve in style at home. All you need is a metal shaker, which you buy relatively cheap, plenty of ice, and oranges or lemons for decoration.
Champagne punch
50 ml grenadine syrup
50 ml cointreaua
15 ml brandy
400 ml champagne
apple or other fruit
* Fill the bowl with ice. Add grenadine, cointreau, brandy and champagne and stir lightly. Pour into glasses and add chopped fruit.
Gin Fizz
50 ml gin
10 ml of sugar syrup
30 ml of lemon juice
100 ml of sparkling water
* Stir gin, sugar syrup and lemon juice into a shaker filled with ice. Pour into a glass and then top off with sparkling water.
Vodka Boatman
1 shot of vodka
1 shot of cherry brandy
2 shots of orange juice
* Mix in a shaker with ice and pour into glasses.
