Nice way to see the highlights quickly
Overall the tour was alright. Adriagate was quite helpful with the booking process and logistics to get to the boat. We picked My Way as the dates were the only one that aligned with ours at the time we were ready to book. Cruise manager was there to welcome us and a couple crew members helped with the bags in. The manager did her best to answer questions but sometimes not in the nicest tones. The stops were really nice and they made effort for us to see the Blue Cave however information on what we were doing that day and how we are on route could have been communicated better. There was a day where we felt liek we were floating lost cause of bad weather at destination and the itinerary had to be swapped about. Boat was not bad. Not the nicest one out at sea but still quite well done. All they advertised were there. Room was not bad. Quite alright size for a week. Housekeeping did keep it quite clean. We actually asked not to have any cleaning since it was only a week, but they did it anyway. Bathroom, has amenities and a hairdryer. Linen and towels for room and sundeck were provided. We packed our own towels as another review had said it didn''t have for the sundeck but that could have been a different boat. Food served was quite alright, hit and misses. Some things were definitely better than others. Portions are large, so definitely won''t be hungry. Its nice that there are some snacks by the tea and coffee station as well. Airport transfer was arranged very smoothly, thoguh a bit early but better early than late for a flight. One thing to note, is that it seems different companies sell the tours and different boats have contracts to operate them and they operate quite independently. So gotta choose boat wisely. The itinerary itself is quite enjoyable.
Not everything was so great on the boat and tour. We did have a good time seeing the stops but tipping was highlighted quite often and it got to a point of annoyance. The boat itself was not the best, it was decent but when you see the others around and talk to some of the people on other boats doing the same route, ours missed out a bit. For instance, the oyster farm tour in Ston. We didn''t visit any oyster farm, just brought to a restaurant in Ston and serve oysters with no explanation or introduction. After talking to some people on Memories, they had a full tour with a boat on the the farm and really got to see something new. The excursions were a bit rushed as well to meet the departure timings, but we did have some injured elderly who couldn''t walk that fast, so felt that could have been accommodated better. We took a lower deck room, since we figured we would be out the whole time, however unlike the pictures, the windows don''t open at all. The room always felt a bit damp. There is an aeration vent but it didn''t feel strong enough. Luckily we could hang wet laundry on a line on the main deck. The sun deck was quite nice to hang out but the hot tub was always cold for most of the trip. Luckily it did warm up towards the end. Swim spots were in some pretty choppy areas. We asked the captain if we could have gone somewhere safer or closer to a shore but he just asked why. They could have honestly done more to let us feel safer to swim. 2 lifebuoys on a rope was all there was. Wish there were some water sport options for days where going in the water isn''t ideal. Then again the captain could have communicated better why certain places were chosen to stop. Cruise manager I felt could have been better informed about places we visited but I guess they aren''t a tour guide so maybe its normal. Only got 2 small botles of water a day per room when tour says 1.5l a day, but there was a water dispenser machine in salon, however they lock it at night. So some nights we had no water to drink. We felt the boat services overall were what needed improvement for the tour.
