Vodice is great destination for rest, entertainment and enjoyment. Vodice was first mentioned in 1402 although it was founded already in the Roman times as Arausa. Its name derives from the word meaning water sources which supplied the whole area. It was not only place where people came to get drinking water and wash their laundry; all social events took place there, new loves were born and marriages agreed, wheel dances were danced and songs were sung, people met and parted there, laughed and cried.

The Nature park Lake Vrana is one of the eleven nature parks in Croatia. This lake is actually a karst field filled with water, and it is a rare example of a cryptodepression. It is also the largest natural lake in Croatia. More than 235 different bird species have found their home here.

The town of Skradin is one of the oldest Croatian towns. Its history dates from the Illyrian era, but it was named only when this area fell under the Roman rule. On the remains of the Illyrian settlement, a town of Scardona was founded, an important junction, a commercial and administrative centre.

Roški slap is situated about 36 km downstream of the Krka River spring. The start of the 
barrier is made up of a series of small cascades, followed by numerous backwaters and islets. 

Prvić is a small island in the Croatian part of Adriatic Seas. It is situated in the Šibenik archipelago in the vicinity of Vodice. The whole island is under protection of the Croatian Ministry of Culture since the island is considered a cultural heritage.

Žirje is an island and a settlement in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea. It is situated in the Šibenik archipelago. The island is composed of two limestone ridges between which is a fertile valley.Main industries are agriculture (grapes, olives, plums, figs and sour cherries) and fishing. Compared to other Croatian Adriatic islands, tourism on Žirje has remained largely undeveloped.

  • Day 1 Arrival to Vodice, walking tour in Vodice
    Surrounded by the beauty of the sea, islands and rivers, Vodice is great destination for rest, entertainment and enjoyment. The group usually gets together around mid-day, which will give us enough time to
    choose and test the bicycles on a short tour of the Vodice. After 1 hour long walking tour we will enjoy tasty dinner in one of the local restaurant.
  • Day 2 Biking tour to Nature park Vrana Lake
    On our first day of biking, we’ll start exploring Nature park Vrana lake. It is the largest natural lake in Croatia. More than 235 different bird species have found their home here.

  • Day 3 Skradin - Waterfalls Skradinski buk
    Our next day of biking we spend on the way to Skradin, National park Krka. The town of Skradin, situated approx. 15 km from Šibenik is one of the oldest Croatian towns. On the way we will see the waterfall Roški slap, which is also called the 'vast waterfall', and is made up of a 22.5 m high main waterfall and countless backwaters, cascades and travertine islands.

  • Day 4 Trip to the history of Vodice
    Experience the spirit of history and explore the history of Vodice. Following this path we will see the Church of St Elias the Prophet, an old Roman cistern, the Church of St John, old Roman wells and the prehistoric settlement of Arauzona, Prižba, Raslina. We will begin our journey from the centre of Vodice. An easy ride along the macadam roads surrounded by meticulously built dry stone walls. We will taste the excellent local wines and have a delicious lunch in one of the domestic restaurant.

  • Day 5 Kayaking to Šibenik Channel-Island Prvić
    Šibenik archipelago. We start with paddling through The St Anthony Channel, also known as "the Šibenik Channel". The channel represents the place where the river Krka symbolically ends but at the same time it is the place where the river flows into the Adriatic Sea. At the exit of the channel towards the open sea there is a pearl among Venetian fortifications – St Nicholas Fortress which is a one of the most attractive fortifications in the Adriatic.
    Prvić is a small island in the Croatian part of Adriatic Seas. It is situated in the Šibenik archipelago, about half a mile from the mainland, in the vicinity of Vodice. Beautiful, quiet, old, noble, stealing breath in front of every house.

  • Day 6 Trekking Island Žirje
    Feel the adrenaline, don’t be lazy. What is the simplest way of healthy exercising and sightseeing ? Trekking is the answer. Žirje is an island and a settlement in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea. It is situated in the Šibenik archipelago.The island is composed of two limestone ridges between which is a fertile valley. Compared to other Croatian Adriatic islands, tourism on Žirje has remained largely undeveloped.
